A couple other changes.

Blood Frenzy was moved up 2 tiers, which is absolutely retarded and still doesn't allow fury warriors to bring anything useful to a raid and forces BF builds to use the horrible slam rotation.

Deep Wounds was also swapped to not be a prerequisite for Impale, so PVP warriors can opt not to pick up an uncontrollable bleed.

Shield wall is now in line with Divine protection. Both classes can talent it down to 12 seconds/50% Redux @ 4 minute cooldown.

DKs get a couple of "shield wall" like abilities some talented, some not. None are quite as powerful as shield wall, but then there are more of them...

Lichborne is IMO one of the best talented abilities that DKs get is is a 5 min CD and provides 30s (maybe 20 can't quite recall) of turning you into an undead (inc being hurt by that fact were appropriate) which makes you immune to most CC and gives everyone an additioanl 25% miss rate against you.

Icebound Fortitude is the other similar ability and it is a base ability (although it can be improved by talents). IIRC it is a big (+50%?) AC increase on a 2 min CD.

Woah, WTF.. shield wall @ 1 minute cooldown? Heh. That opens A LOT of doors for death knight tanking during certain mechanics fights.

I know there is a talent that is 2 runic power per 5 seconds, or something along those lines

last i recall that ability also generated a big bunch when you killed someting, it really is a leveling/grinding type ability combined with anger management from the arms tree.

Overall runic poewr gen isn't too bad. DKs probably generate about 6 runic power per 10 seconds. Most abilities that use one rune generate 10 power.

So 20 power per minute for this is certainly doable, given that they will have about 300 or so a minute to use. It will however seriously limit the ability to use some spells as many/most spells will fully deplete the runic power pool (using all avaialble RP).

As a tanking ability although the cooldown is huge, I see two possibilities:

1) A DK off tank in a boss fight like Kael P4 where the DK does nothing but build runic power and taunts the MT and takes the "pyro".

2) Although the cooldown is 1 minute, the DK as MT would effectively use it once every 3-4 minutes anyway, or as an oh shit button.

DKs won't use this on KT Pyro, they would use Anti-magic Shell which is a 30 sec CD, 5 sec duration 75 (talented to 100)% damage reduction on spells.

Most DKs think Icebound Fortitude (which can be talented to 15s duration with uppper tier frost talents) is so good that you really need to just spam it basically, missing too much mitigation otherwise. But hard to know. It probably is a substitute for DKs for no Shield Block/Holy Shield ability and a replacement for Shield Wall at the same time.
